Then how can we hate others for their one mistake. Think before you hate someone or hate yourself.

Swimming along the flow is effortless but swimming against it needs effort. Don't go the way life takes you, but take life the way you wanna go. Dare to be different.

The greatest advantage of speaking the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said. Think about it.

A beautiful saying: If your eyes are positive you would like all the people in the world. But if your tongue is positive all the people in the world like you.

Life is about the art of drawing without an eraser, so be careful while taking decisions about the most valuable pages of your life.

A nice thought: I met money and said why everyone runs behind you, you are just a piece of paper. Money smiled and said of-course I am just a piece of paper, but I haven't seen a dustbin yet in my whole life.

Life is like a coin. Pleasure and Pain are the two sides. Only one side is visible at a time. But remember other side is also waiting for it's turn.

If you like someone, show it. It will be sweeter then telling. But if you don't like someone. Just tell it. It will be less painful then showing it.

A very true but strange quote: Love doesn't start in morning & end in evening. It starts when you don't need it & ends when you need it most.

What's greater then mom's love? Which pillow is better then lover's lap? Which company's better then friends? There are some things in life with no substitutes. Love them forever.

Tragedy of moon: So simple but so attractive. So enlightening but so cool. So moving but so still. So quite but so popular. So romantic but still single.

A cute story: A man daily sent a rose to his wife. One day he died, but his wife still received roses. She asked the floweriest. He said, your husband paid advance for your whole life. Moral: Love someone forever.

A boy loved a girl so much. One day he proposed her. But she refused. Still he was not sad. His friends asked him, didn't you feel bad? He said, why should I feel? I lost the one who never loved me. But she lost the one who really loves her.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2009 when...

You accidentally enter your PIN on the microwave.

You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.

You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.

You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.

Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.

You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries..

Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen

Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't even have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.

You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee.

You start tilting your head sideways to smile. : )

You're reading this and nodding and laughing..

Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to forward this message.

You are too busy to notice there was no #9 on this list.

You actually scrolled back up to check that there wasn't a #9 on this list.

Progeria

On Friday 4th, Dec., 2009 I had gone to see a movie called PAA with my family its a real good movie. And while you walk, smile. .

Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment. Don't over do. Keep your limits.

Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.

Dream more while you are awake.

Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need..

Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.

Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.

Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.

No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

Smile and laugh more.

You don't have to win every argument. You all can very well see it on the above photograph. People do have small garden area in balcony or terrace. The only problem with it is they use access of water which hampers the buildings exterior wall as well as paint also. Most of the plants do not survive on excess amount of water. Due to excess of water there is always a water pool in your balcony and these things do attract mosquitoes and other insects. I am not at all against it but we can take simple measures.

Better use a sprayer which will consume less water and plants will grow much faster.

Keep the area dry as far as possible to avoid leakages.

Use some natural pesticides like Neem, Tobacco etc.

Use natural manure like Cow dung, dry leaves etc.

Mumbai meri jaan

City of Mumbai did experienced highest tide on 24th July, 2009 approx 5.05 mtrs a record of pass 100 years. Before long, the entire class was smiling."Really?" she heard whispered. "I never knew that I meant anything to anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much," were most of the comments. No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter. The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in "Kargil" war and his teacher attended the funeral of that special student. She had never attended Funeral of a serviceman before. He looked so handsome, so mature. The place was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took a last walk. The teacher was the last one to bless. As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to her. "Were you Sanjay's math teacher?" he asked. She nodded: "yes." Then he said: "Sanjay talked about you a lot."

After the funeral, most of Sanjay's former classmates were there. Sanjay's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak with his teacher. "We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet out of his pocket "They found this on Sanjay when he was killed. We thought you might recognize it." Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times... The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she had listed all the good things each of Sanjay's classmates had said about him."Thank you so much for doing that," Sanjay's mother said. "As you can see, Sanjay treasured it."

All of Sanjay's former classmates started to gather around. Arjun smiled rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer of my desk at home." Prithwiraj's wife said, "Prithwiraj asked me to put his in our wedding album." "I have mine too," Rashmi said. "It's in my diary". Then Deepali, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group. "I carry this with me at all times," Deepali said and without batting an eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists". That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Sanjay and for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be. So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and important. Tell them, before it is too late...

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

On August 7 , 2009

At 12hr 34 minutes and 56 seconds on the 7th of August this year, the time and date will be 12:34:56 07/08/09.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

This will never happen in your life again??!!!!

Worry

Is there a magic cutoff period when
Offspring become accountable for their own
Actions? Is there a wonderful moment when
Parents can become detached spectators in
The lives of their children and shrug, 'It's
Their life,' and feel nothing?

When I was in my twenties , I stood in a hospital
Corridor waiting for doctors to put a few
Stitches in my daughter's head. I asked, 'When do
You stop worrying?' The nurse said,
'When they get out of the accident stage..' My
Dad just smiled faintly and said nothing.

When I was in my thirties, I sat on a little
Chair in a classroom and heard how one of my
Children talked incessantly, disrupted the class,
And was headed for a career making
License plates.. As if to read my mind, a teacher
Said, 'Don't worry, they all go through
This stage and then you can sit back, relax and
Enjoy them.' My dad just smiled
Faintly and said nothing.

When I was in my forties, I spent a lifetime
Waiting for the phone to ring, the cars to come
Home, the front door to open. A friend said,
'They're trying to find themselves. Don't! worry,
In a few years, you can stop worrying. They'll be
Adults.' My dad just smiled faintly
And said nothing.

By the time I was 50, I was sick & tired of being
Vulnerable. I was still worrying over my
Children, but there was a new wrinkle. There
Was nothing I could do about it. My
Dad just smiled faintly and said nothing. I
Continued to anguish over their failures, be
Tormented by their frustrations and absorbed in
Their disappointments.

My friends said that when my kids got married I
Could stop worrying and lead my own
Life. I wanted to believe that, but I was
Haunted by my dad's warm smile and his
Occasional, 'You look pale. Are you all right?
Call me the minute you get home. Are
You depressed about something?'

Can it be that parents are sentenced to a
Lifetime of worry? Is concern for one another
Handed down like a torch to blaze the trail of
Human frailties and the fears of the
Unknown? Is concern a curse or is it a virtue
That elevates us to the highest form of life?

One of my children became quite irritable
Recently, saying to me, 'Where were you? I've been
Calling for 3 days, and no one answered I was worried.'
I smiled a warm smile.
The torch has been passed.

A Little More Effort ... A Lot More Results

Think you have to make huge changes and expend a ton of extra energy to achieve bigger and better results? Think again! And consider this ...

At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, it boils. And with boiling water comes steam. And with steam, you can power a train. Applying just one extra degree of temperature to water means the difference between something that is simply very hot and something that generates enough force to power a large machine.

The message of this simple yet powerful metaphor should be

clear to all: Seemingly small things can make tremendous differences. The key learning is

Equally powerful: The application of additional heat (effort) to whatever task or activity you undertake will not only help you achieve the primary objective you seek, but also reap exponential rewards that are possible by applying one extra degree of effort.

Imagine the possibilities ...

Add just a few hours each month to your professional development outside of the work and you will have invested the equivalent of a full work.

Make just one extra contact each day ...a sales call ... a customer... a brief discussion with a

colleague ... an encouraging talk with a member of your team. With contact comes opportunity. At the end of the year you'll have opened more than 200 additional doors of possibility.

Eliminate one half hour of television watching each day and you'll gain 182.5 hours each year to use elsewhere (equivalent to four and a half weeks of work).

Imagine YOUR possibilities. Where can you give a little more effort? What small changes can you make that will add up over time? As a leader, what can you do - what will you do - to enjoy the rewards that come from "turning up the heat" one extra degree? Find those opportunities ... and seize them!

Make it a great week ahead....... ......

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://gudhkaharsh.blogspot.com/2009/06/little-more-effort-lot-more-results.html' title='A Little More Effort ... A little boy loved to come and play around it every day. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow...He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by...the little boy had grown up, And he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad."Come and play with me", the tree asked the boy. The boy replied:"I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees anymore"I want toys. I need money to buy them. Sorry, but I do not have money...But you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money. The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned. And the tree was excited "Come and play with me" the tree said. I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family We need a house for shelter. Can you help me? "Sorry",I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house. So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad. One hot summer day,the man returned and the tree was delighted.Come and play with me!the tree said.I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat? Said the man.

Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy. So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat.

He went sailing and never showed up for a long time. Finally, the man returned after many years.Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you..., The tree said. No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite, The man replied. No more trunk for you to climb on. I am too old for that now' the man said. I really cannot give you anything...

The only thing left is my dying root, The tree said with tears. I do not need much now, just a place to rest.I am tired after all these years the man replied. Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, Come, come sit down with me and rest.

The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears...This is you and the tree is your parent.

Why did elite class in Mumbai did not vote

Clashed with Salsa class..
Election Whites not dry-cleaned..
No candidate found to be a Hottie..
Tony Jethmalani contested from Suburbs..Ugggh..
No Valet Parking at Booth..
Spotted servant in Queue ahead of us..
Driver did not come that day..
Elections over Dude..Obama won..
No party tackling real issues..example : Reduce GOLD GYM rates.
No home delivery !!!

Remembrance

In the remembrance of the girl with the sweetest smile.....

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; A very angry and rude young man came up and began insulting him. "You have no right teaching others," he shouted. "You are as stupid as everyone else. You are nothing but a fake."

Buddha was not upset by these insults. Instead he asked the young man "Tell me, if you buy a gift for someone, and that person does not take it, to whom does the gift belong?"

The man was surprised to be asked such a strange question and answered, "It would belong to me, because I bought the gift."

The Buddha smiled and said, "That is correct. And it is exactly the same with your anger. If you become angry with me and I do not get insulted, then the anger falls back on you. You are then the only one who becomes unhappy, not me. All you have done is hurt yourself."

"If you want to stop hurting yourself, you must get rid of your anger and become loving instead. When you hate others, you yourself become unhappy. But when you love others, everyone is happy."

The young man listened closely to these wise words of the Buddha. "You are right, o Enlightened One, "he said. "And became one of his dearest follower"

Thats life

God created the donkey
and said to him:
"You will be a donkey. I wanted to know why some people are always in the right place at the right time, while others consistently experience ill fortune. I placed advertisements in national newspapers asking for people who felt consistently lucky or unlucky to contact me.

Hundreds of extraordinary men and women volunteered for my research and over the years, I have interviewed them, monitored their lives and had them take part in experiments.

The results reveal that although these people have almost no insight into the causes of their luck, their thoughts and behavior are responsible for much of their good and bad fortune. Take the case of seemingly chance opportunities. Lucky people consistently encounter such opportunities, whereas unlucky people do not.

I carried out a simple experiment to discover whether this was due to differences in their ability to spot such opportunities. I gave both lucky and unlucky people a newspaper, and asked them to look through it and tell me how many photographs were inside. I had secretly placed a large message halfway through the newspaper saying: "Tell the experimenter you have seen this and win $50."

This message took up half of the page and was written in font that was more than two inches high. It was staring everyone straight in the face, but the unlucky people tended to miss it and the lucky people tended to spot it.

Unlucky people are generally tenser than lucky people, and this anxiety disrupts their ability to notice the unexpected.

As a result, they miss opportunities because they are too focused on looking for something else. They go to parties' intent on finding their perfect partner and so miss opportunities to make good friends. They look through newspapers determined to find certain types of job advertisements and miss other types of jobs.

Lucky people are more relaxed and open, and therefore see what is there rather than just what they are looking for. My research eventually revealed that lucky people generate good fortune via four principles. They are skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, and create self-fulfilling prophesies via positive expectations, and adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good.

Towards the end of the work, I wondered whether these principles could be used to create good luck. I asked a group of volunteers to spend a month carrying out exercises designed to help them think and behave like a lucky person.

Dramatic results! These exercises helped them spot chance opportunities, listen to their intuition, expect to be lucky, and be more resilient to bad luck. One month later, the volunteers returned and described what had happened. The results were dramatic: 80% of people were now happier, more satisfied with their lives and, perhaps most important of all, luckier.

The lucky people had become even luckier and the unlucky had become lucky.

Finally, I had found the elusive "luck factor".

Here are Professor Wiseman's four top tips for becoming lucky:

1) Listen to your gut instincts - they are normally right.
2) Be open to new experiences and breaking your normal routine.
3) Spend a few moments each day remembering things that went well.
4) Visualize yourself being lucky before an important meeting or telephone call.

Have a Lucky day and work for it.

Note that, the happiest people in the world are not those who have no problems, but those who learn to live with things that are less than perfect.

The best poem of 2006

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; But during the monsoon, Goa has a different kind of haunting beauty. If you are open to the offbeat holiday, a monsoon retreat in Goa can be captivating. The rains transforms the landscape dramatically and the countryside turns refreshingly green and cool.

Farmers slough fields that will soon turn into a sea of green, and you might be lucky enough to catch the lively and exhilarating. Another notable factor is that most of the resorts offer heavy discounts and packages during the monsoon season. So not only do you get a chance to see a different side of Goa during the rains, but you can also hone your negotiating skills to get the best deals.

Visit Goa's many beautiful temples and churches or perhaps just enjoy a bird-watching cruise or a dolphin-spotting trip together. It is also well connected by air as well as rail and road networks. And if you need still more reasons to visit Goa, you can find them in the warmth and hospitality of her people and the tantalizing Goan cuisine, especially the scrumptious seafood specialties.

Goa has much more to offer, Goa is beautiful in all seasons and I feel people should make the most of the opportunity to visit the state during monsoon season too, when the cooler climes and the lush greenery all around make for a whole new, refreshingly different experience. Aside from being less crowded during monsoons, the gentle sound of the falling rain is also the perfect inspiration for creative people, including thinkers, poets and artists, to reawaken and reconnect with the wellsprings of creativity within.

My Trip to Narara Marine National Park

Marine National park at Narara Bet in Gujarat is attracting a large number of tourists, as diverse aquatic species are available here. In the marine park's shallow waters, various species like live coral, live shell, algae plants, live oyster, prawns and crabs are easily seen floating and unwinding. Narara Bet is one of the 42 islands in the Arabian Sea covered by coral reefs and mangrove swamps which is a paradise for marine life lovers. The sea of Gujarat is around 1600 KM, longest for a state in India. And Jamnagar has around 220 KM of longest sea-shore in whole Gujarat. The low tide marine national park makes Jamnagar an interesting place for Aquatic Species lovers.

B K Shilu, Forest Officer, Narara Range was our guide. We did not waste anytime and started our trek. Shilubhai is a gem of a person very humble and had a sound knowledge about this marine park. Before starting he gave us some instructions regarding the history of the park and strictly told not to carry any plastic bags because it may pollute the whole area. As we entered the park it was surrounded by mangroves, Shilubhai explained the importance of mangroves to our environment, it is a great help during tsunami and shelter for birds too. "The sea in Gujarat is specifically different from other seas of the country because marine life here can be seen simply walking in low tide. You can experience something like this in very few places in the world. One has to go underwater even in the Great Barrier Reef, where a variety of corals and marine life is found," said Shilubhai.

As we were walking through mangroves, Shilubhai caught hold of a crab and showed us each and every part of its body. Kids were really happy seeing the first sighting of Narara. Most of this marine creatures do have a gods give gift that is camouflage that helps to protect themselves from there enemies. A few yards away Shilubhai caught hold of an Octopus it was light brown in colour an injected ink like blue colour when it was caught, he showed as its tentacles and let us have the feel of that vaccum effect when we touched the tentacles.

In between he showed us marine vegetation algae, sea cucumber, sponge and one unusual thing something really beautiful looked as big as a lotus leaf and look alike moss I have also posted the photo, the best part of this was when touched it simply disappears.

We were sweating it was almost 7.50 am at that moment Shilubhai caught hold of a Star Fish, he allowed us to touch and have a feel of it. It was live Oyster this time and I took the photo of it. We walk through the Coral reefs for about 20 minutes, now it was time to return our mood was off because the best part of Narara is the Puffer Fish. I told Shilubhai unless an until we see Puffer Fish we will not go back. At around 9.10 am Shilubhai caught hold of the Puffer Fish.

The best part of Puffer Fish is when it is water it looks like a normal fish and as soon as you catch hold of this fish it turns in a small size of a hand ball. And it can stay alive for almost two to three hours as its body is filled with water. I thank Shilubhai for sharing his valuable information regarding marine life. For me it was a dream come true.

My dream machine :

After the school was over, the very next day football camp started at my school which was of 13 days.
